#17 | Minimalist Packing | Online Security

Personal:

I am often on the move but have yet to learn how to travel light.

I always travel with two suitcases: one check-in and one carry-on, plus a small bag for electronics. I want to optimize my travel gear and am very attracted to a minimalist way of travelling. Right now, I'm reading several blogs with detailed lists and links that might also interest you!

App:

Today, I want to discuss online security and some of the apps that help you feel protected while browsing the Internet.

  • Surfshark: Enjoy unrestricted Internet while keeping your online activity and personal information secure! This is especially useful when using a public network or trying to book cheaper flight tickets ;)
  • 1Password or alternatives. Password manager. Hassle-free security for everyone. Store your passwords in one place and share them, if needed, with others without revealing the actual password.
  • Proton email: This is a safe and private email account. Unlike many online activities that are tracked by Google for ads, Proton Mail offers an encrypted email service from end to end. This means your inbox is free from ads, trackers, and any form of spying or data collection. All data on Proton Mail is encrypted, ensuring that neither hackers nor ProtonMail employees can read your messages.

Media:

These past two weeks, I have been travelling extensively for work, so there has been little time for reading or watching.

One book that caught my attention is: "It Doesn't Have to Be Crazy at Work" by Jason Fried.

I came across a LinkedIn post by Margo Laz (Founder @Kudos Narratives), where she accurately summarized the key points of this book. See below!
